Brazilian egg producer’s pioneering use of Sustell™ for improving its environmental footprint presented to the 4th ConBrasul Eggs Conference

Promoted by the IEC (International Egg Commission), and sponsored by dsm-firmenich, the 4th ConBrasul Eggs Conference, convened approximately 300 participants including producers and egg chain stakeholders such as suppliers, regulators and media to discuss current and future practices, harmonization and the development of egg production at the global level.

In a joint presentation with Brazilian egg producer, Naturovos, Jose Francisco Miranda, Sustainability Business Development Latam, Animal Nutrition and Health at dsm-firmenich, previewed how Sustell™ is helping the company to use Sustell™ to accurately measure and improve its environmental footprint. Jose Francisco said, “As the first egg producer in Brazil to use Sustell™, Naturovos is a pioneer, using real data to set the standard for environmental impact measurement for egg production in Brazil.” Jose Francisco continued, “Sustell™ allows Naturovos to take ownership for its environmental impact, set clear targets and intervention strategies for improvement and transparently communicate its commitments and actions throughout the value chain.”
